Accessibility at CogNexSys
CogNexSys is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Scope
This accessibility commitment applies to all content published at cognexsys.com, lab.cognexsys.com, and usecases.cognexsys.com.
Measures taken
- All pages use semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy, ARIA landmarks, and descriptive labels.
- All interactive elements are operable via keyboard with visible focus indicators.
- Color is never used as the sole means of conveying information — icons and text labels accompany all status indicators.
- All text meets WCAG 2.2 AA minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
- All touch targets meet a minimum size of 44×44 pixels, exceeding the WCAG 2.2 AA minimum of 24×24 pixels.
- The site respects operating system accessibility preferences including reduced motion (
prefers-reduced-motion) and increased contrast (prefers-contrast). - The site is fully responsive from 320px to 1440px+ without horizontal scrolling or loss of content.
Compatibility
These sites are designed to be compatible with current versions of major screen readers including VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), NVDA (Windows), and JAWS (Windows), in conjunction with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
Known limitations
We are continuously reviewing and improving accessibility. If you encounter content that does not meet the WCAG 2.2 AA standard, please let us know.
